Super Mario 64 Intro remade in HD by Camtoonist

This s just a quick little post to share something I came across recently. This is a remade verion of the Super Mario 64 intro made in HD by a youtuber named Camtoonist.

I had a nice model of Mario, and updated my rig, so I had to try this. Took a while to render just this, but it was awesome to do.

It’s really strange to see the old 64-bit model be upgraded, after having seen it the same way so many times over the years. Since this was likely made in some sort of 3D rendering program, it would have been nice to see a hand pull on his cheeks or mustache like in the game. Eh, you can’t have it all, I suppose.

Either way, it’s a nice little video. This version of the Super Mario 64 intro short, sweet and doesn’t overstay its welcome (unlike most of my homebrew recordings, haha)
