Sean Bean, the actor from GoldenEye, comments on the N64 game

Okay now this is pretty cool. Back in 1995, Sean Bean played as the [Spoilers!] villain of the 1995 James Bond movie GoldenEye. Two years later in 1997, his likeness was put on one of the best known games on the Nintendo 64. 17 years after that, Sean Bean came back to do an AMA on Reddit and the questions came pouring in, with over 4000 upvotes and 6000 comments as of the writing of this post.

The question in question:

Have you ever played Goldeneye for Nintendo 64? How does it feel being a character in not only a movie, but a video game that has become a cult classic?

To which Sean Bean replied:

Oh, it’s good, it’s great! Especially because it’s so popular, it’s like, quite unique really. It was such a big hit. But I think I’ve seen him. I think my head looks a bit square innit.

It’s really cool to know that one of the stars in the movie thinks that 007 Goldeneye is a great game, even though his head was a square with his face painted on it:
