Majora’s mask confirmed for the 3DS!

Woo! Looks like the rumours were confirmed. Majora’s mask has been announced for the 3DS! Have a look at the trailer:

I guess that it was inevitable considering that Ocarina of Time on the 3DS and A Link Between Worlds were so popular. There isn’t much more to say, really. The trailer doesn’t show much of the gameplay, just panning through scenes so it’s unclear as to whether the controls will differ from that of Ocarina of Time 3DS.

A few important things:

It’s announced release date is Spring of 2015, so we’ve got about 6 months left before we can fully enjoy the game.

The full title is going to be: The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. Not that we expected it to be any different.

The graphics are an upgrade from the Nintendo 64 version, much like the Ocarina of Time remake. Since the trailer is a 2D video, I can’t really tell what the 3D effect is going to look like but I hope that it’s similar to what it was for OOt 3D. That game had some of the best 3D out there for the 3DS.
