N64brew Game Jam 2024
The fifth N64brew Game Jam is here! Registrations are open on the N64brew discord server so have a look if you think you might want to participate. The theme was revealed on the 18th of October and the deadline was on the 13th of December.
The contest
The ROM can be downloaded from the download page by using the password minigamemadness. It can also be found from the Github releases mirror.
Submissions will appear below as their pages are completed.
64Beats
64Beats is a hombrew minigame by JvPeek where you have to hit arrows to the rhytm of the song.
Coin Rush
Coin Rush is a homebrew minigame for the N64 by HailToDodongo where you have to use your sword to gather as many coins as possible.
Destroy!
Destroy! is a homebrew minigame for the N64 where you have to destroy as much a city as possible as a Godzilla-like kaiju.
FurBall
FurBall is a homebrew minigame by Radish64 where you play against four players to see who throws the most fur balls at targets.
Halcyon Hexagons & Hot Hot Hexagons
Halcyon Hexagons & Hot Hot Hexagons are two minigames by Strawberry Bytes where you jump on platforms to avoid falling to your doom.
Holes
Holes is a homebrew minigame for the N64 by Strawberry Bytes where you control a hole that grows by eating objects (and opponents).
Hydra Harmonics
Hydra Harmonics is a homebrew N64 minigame by Catch 64 where you play as one of four hydra heads eating as many notes as possible.
Land Grab
Land Grab is a homebrew minigame by Meeq where you place blocks on a board to cover as much as possible before your opponents can.
Larceny
Larceny is a homebrew 2v2 minigame where you play on a team of cops and robbers attempting to defend or steal gems inside a vault.
Le Tohu-Bohu
Le Tohu-Bohu is a homebrew game fore the N64 by TFmoe where you have to find a key to unlock a safe before your opponents.
Theme
The theme is “Competitive Minigames”! This means that either 4 humans can play simultaneously, or any missing humans will have to be replaced with a computer/AI player.
Judges
Like last year, this will be a community vote.
Prize
As of the end of the jam, the prize pool is $1753.18.
