Nintendo 64 piano medley by Amoffett11

Thoughts

I dunno about you, but I like it when recordings of people playing music have a bit of a webcam-recording feel to them, it makes it seem a lot more authentic. Kinda like how live music is different from studio album music, know what I mean? That’s one thing I really like about Amoffett11’s piano medley.

One thing I noticed is that the tempo he plays at is very very fast. I went back and had a listen to a recording from the original games, and it feels like time and space have slowed down for me =S

One final point is that the Diddy Kong racing bit is 1:10 in length, the Zelda one is 4:10 and the Banjo portion of the medley is about 0:50. As you can tell, the Hyrule Field theme is much longer than the other two. This made it feel as though halfway through the whole piano medley was going to be the Ocarina of Time music, so it really threw me off when he switched over to Banjo Kazooie.
