Mario Kart’s Rainbow Road in Minecraft

Are you a fan of Minecraft? Of course you are. If you’re visiting a site about early 3D games, you just gotta love some blocky gameplay, and Minecraft is great with its lego-esque gameplay.

It’s really simple in style. It covers the length of the track all around, full circle. You can even grab a piggy and ride around with it in a multiplayer race to the finish. I’m pretty sure that it won’t be too fun since the track is quite long and it takes quite a bit of time to go around.

The lack of obstacles also makes for a pretty dull trip, and the map is missing most of the ‘constellations’ that appear in the game, but it’s an interesting little titbit nonetheless.
