Snake finally completed

This is just a quick post to post about this image I found. It’s the Snake game that we’ve all playedon our mobile phones before they had touch screens. I remember back in the day people really sucked at it so I beat the record on everybody’s phone that I played on. Fucking casuals =P

Nowadays you have mobile games that you play on a touchscreen, and I tend to find them much more lacking in retro charm than the ones from ten to fifteen years ago, so I don’t really enjoy them as much.

To me, this is quite the eye-opener. Whenever I played this game all those years ago, I always wondered what the late-game would look like. Having to trace the point of your tailperfectly so as to take advantage of all possible space, you really have to see it to believe it.

The box at the end translates from Russian to “now we are going to show you a cartoon. …. Connecting with the server. NO connection, so everyone is free to go now”. This is really sad, the player went through the trouble of finishing the game that they didn’t even get the ending cutscene. Truly one of the great tragedies of our time.As far as I’m aware, the Snake gif first appeared on a thread on Reddit, so credit to /u/happiersadist for sharing it with the world.
